Today’s Reflection
Today’s Scripture: Matthew 2:9-12
When we are seeking insight from God, we do not always get clear and visible evidence. It can be frustrating because we are uncertain about what to do. Honestly, there are times when we may not receive a visible sign no matter how hard we look and pray. I do believe, however, that a closer look at this text reveals why the Magi receive an epiphany. The Magi are seeking Jesus because they believe him to be the king who will fulfill the prophecies in scripture.

I think twice God reassured me of His presence and a third time reassured me that my steps toward paying off a debt would succeed. By the time the magi arrived, Jesus is living in a house not the stable of an inn. I wonder if the magi would have accepted Jesus as king had they found Him in a stable.
A gloomy morning, snow expected, no idea how much, yesterday brought only rain and a few flurries. Not the ski season skiers hope for, snowshoeing isn’t any better.
The House of Representatives needs prayer! We don’t have a fully functioning government.
Blessings to all of you, I need to do some catchup work to know how you are doing.
Julie, I expect H’s confusion and arguments may increase, soon the arguments will make less sense. It’s sad to see, even if the relationship has been poor for a long time. Prayers for patient endurance. Thankful the therapy is helpful.
Jill, sure hope this is not a long nasty strike, it achieves safety for teachers, students, and staff. When that happens administrators will be safe too. Hope you don’t lose health insurance if on strike and that more an helpful information about school conditions and your health comes. Too bad about the MRI results.
Ally and David, prayers for David’s health issues, so glad your sister is coming for a visit, hope Lewis gets the help needed.
Thank You Lord for news from the NEM family.
I do not recall this ever happening. I fear it is because of my lack of seeking and actually paying attention.
Prayers for Ally and David and Lewis, may all be well and may Ally’s sister have safe travel. I pray David takes advantage of the excellent rehab facilities. Prayers for Jill and her fellow teachers as they fight for not only their own safety but also that of the students. Prayers for Robert as he prepares for yet another move.
