Today’s Reflection
Older adults often worry about not being able to adequately express their innermost thoughts to God. You too may be concerned about fumbling over your words, especially if asked to offer a public prayer. Remember this important truth: God is not impressed by lofty words. God yearns for authentic hearts and people who want to grow in relationship with God.

Mainly, for me, just conversation with God. And yes, as the reading suggests, I know that high falutin’ words and expression is unnecessary. He knows my thoughts from afar and all the comforting parts of Psslm 139 help.
Yep, me too, just talk as though talking to a friend. Also, I always pray for others before myself. I also pray for creatures as well, my kitties come before me in my prayers. I start with gratitude.
