New every morning is your love, great God of light, and all day long you are working for good in the world. Stir up in us desire to serve you, to live peacefully with our neighbors and all your creation, and to devote each day to your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Yes, Father – Your Son rose from the dead – whereby making us joint heirs in many things, including victory over fear. May my mom experience this. Help her to know what great power exists because of Christ.
Mom came to Easter dinner at my sister’s for 3 hours yesterday. I was so proud of her and happy for dad. When she was ready to go – I went home with her so dad could stay with the family. She looked good, ate reasonably well.
Church was wonderful yesterday morning. The singing and the encouraging Word – all nourishment to my soul.

Good news of a happy Easter for you Jill –
And yes Mary- we have no fear but joy- I hope that you parents are progressing and that your job is better.
Prayers for all of the UR today- especially for Robert traveling to see his family.
Prayers for Julie and her family and for Marcy whom we have not heard from- she is in our hearts. Prayers for Andrea – hoping her husband is feeling better and that they were able to celebrate Easter is some way. Prayers and blessings to all this week- my daughter and I returned home late last night- so thankful for a brief time away that was uneventful and relaxing. Now I need to find a place to live and get packing – my home sold the day before we left and now their is much more to do. I thank God for the respite of a few days away and I pray that he will help me through this next stage as he truly has been helping me and guiding me along the way. My trust is in Him- He loves us all and is always there – closer than our breath. I believe.

Thank you, Lou. So glad you had a nice trip with your daughter. I am praying for all aspects of your move.

Went to church yesterday. First time in many years. I have mixed feelings, much has changed and there were so few people attending despite the holiday.
Jill, so nice to hear your family celebrated together.
Mary, I echo Lou’s questions. How are your parents and your new job.
Lou, thankful for safe and restful travel. I understand the significance of time with no drama or angst as our daughters are similar ages.
Prayers for you as you pack and look for a new home.
Blessings and prayers for and thank you to all of my UR family

      Thanks Lou and Julie

My dad’s kidney is not doing very well but he is still eating well and my mum is also well. Today, i bought longans for them. They enjoyed eating them very much.

I am still giving tuition and enjoy seeing my students making good progress. Their exams are approaching. I pray that they will excel and glorify God in all that they do.

Ev’ry morning is Easter morning from now on!
Ev’ry day’s resurrection day, the past is over and gone!
Goodbye guilt, goodbye fear, good riddance!
    Hello Lord, Hello sun!
I am one of the Easter People! My new life has begun!

  • Andrea Posted April 2, 2018 9:57 am

I am thankful for a quiet Easter yesterday with my husband. I made an Easter dinner for two, set the table with china and lit a candle, and it was special.

I am thankful for time this past week with my daughter and our Norwegian relative, Anna, and of course, my sweet 3 y.o. grandson.

When I first started posting here at UR, I was often fearful, at times intensely so. In the past couple of years my fears have allayed. I am thankful for the prayer support from UR friends.

Prayers for UR friends, with prayers for strength for Marcy, hoping she is able to post again soon. Wishing all who visit here a blessed day.

Thankful for wifi on the train and I can post while riding. Am very much enjoying the train ride. Beautiful spring New England weather, welded rail, great scenery, it’s just great.

Amen to the No Fear message, the scripture of the day, and the geat news fro all of you regarding parents, health, jobs, relatives, friends, house sales, and church attendance. Many wonderful blessings. Yes, Julie church attendance is not what it used to be. Glad there are still churches to attend. Andrea, this is the most welcoming Christian body I have had the experience to join. Thank You, Lord. Lou, so glad your house sold quickly, I pray it was for a reasonable sum. Sold my house after my wife passed away.I found that very helpful. The Lord is with you. Prayers for Jil and Becky as they support Gloria and Larry in the upcoming days. Lord, You know their needs, thank You for your help.

Hope we hear from Marcy soon and also Rusty and others we have not heard from.

Traveling now between White River Junction VT and Brattleboro along or near the Connecticut River.
