Today’s Reflection
In the Lord Jesus Christ, I urge all my Sisters, both those present and those to come, to strive always to imitate the way of holy simplicity, humility, and poverty and to preserve the integrity of our holy manner of life, as we were taught by our blessed Father Francis from the beginning of our conversion to Christ. Thus, may they always maintain a good name, both among those who are far off and those who are near, not by their own merits but solely by the mercy and grace of our Benefactor, the Father of mercies.

Prayer for the Week
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace
Where there is hatred, let me sow love
Where there is injury, pardon
Where there is doubt, faith
Where there is despair, hope
Where there is darkness, light
And where there is sadness, joy.

I hope my actions are consistent and compassionate. I hope people feel like I give them sufficient time and attention.
I like the last sentence or two – where she states – not by our own merits, but solely by the mercy and grace of God. May I not seek recognition, but quietly go about my business, honoring Him.
Dad enjoyed the afternoon. My best friend’s mom made him a cookies and cream ice cream cake and it was delectable. We all enjoyed it. And he got to take over half of it home. We played cards and took a short walk when the sun peaked out towards the end of the afternoon. Definitely the chill of Fall is in the air.
I try not to judge and leave that to God, Correcting one who does not believe is a monumental task. I do try to lead by example.
ZOOM worship, world-wide Communion, and tailgate parking lot fellowship today. Prayers for a blessed Sunday as we do this in remembrance of Jesus. Thank You, Lord.
Currently, I am having trouble thinking and concentrating, so I have no answer.
My mom’s surgery went well. But no one told my aunt that she was not taken to the operating room until 3:00pm. consequently, we thaought her surgery began at noon and by 6:00pm I was a basket case. However, it was only 3 hours and the surgeon said it went well. The put a rod in her leg. I have not heard from her but was able to talk to my brother who called me from Japan. So I was served the divorce papers Thursday, my mom fell and broke her femur on Friday and had the surgery Saturday and our freezer decided to break on Saturday as well. I am shell shocked and holding my breath regarding today. I will be alone all day with h and the animosity has reached a fever pitch.
