Today’s Reflection
GOD DOES COME to us knowing our exhaustion, but instead of pity, the Lord offers bread and water. Life can be demanding and sometimes devastating, but more than rescue, God wants to revive us with what we’ll need for the coming days. God doesn’t want us trapped in a continuous cycle of exhaust, collapse, repair, and repeat. God provides what we need to move along, even if, for the moment, that provision is only enough to help us take the next step.

God’s strength comes to me in ways hard to describe. I feel it, recognize it, but of course it is quite invisible. Jesus said the most important things are not what’s seen, but what is unseen.
