New every morning is your love, great God of light, and all day long you are working for good in the world. Stir up in us desire to serve you, to live peacefully with our neighbors and all your creation, and to devote each day to your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Today’s Reflection

Imagine waking up in the morning embraced by divine love. This love provides an unshakable sense of worthiness and belonging. It gives you the courage to know and be known by other people. Imagine being exactly who God created you to be. Authenticity is a gift to others. It enables you to be a great friend because you have empathy and compassion to share. Imagine loving with your whole heart and celebrating with gratitude and joy the knowledge that you are enough.

Today’s Scripture

So we have known and believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them.

Prayer for the Week

When I am full of worry, awaken me.
When I feel isolated, awaken me.
When I am afraid, awaken me.
God, of love and compassion, awaken me. Amen.

I felt closest two God the two times God made His presence known. It was awe inspiring. I was speechless and didn’t move. I don’t know how long each experience lasted. From these I know that God is always with us. Thank You, Lord.

Every night. When I ask God to watch over me and my kitties throughout the night. I also ask him to sit with me and keep me company throughout the night and quell my fears. Sometimes, afte an especially bad day, I ask him to hold my hand.
