Today’s Reflection
Just as the angel promises those women at the empty tomb that the risen Jesus will go ahead into Galilee, so he goes before us to meet us in whatever situation may represent our Galilee. When we recognize his presence and respond to him, resurrection happens in the midst of our daily lives. This is what it means to live today as Easter people filled with the Holy Spirit.
—Trevor Hudson, Pauses for Pentecost: 50 Words for Easter People (Upper Room Books, 2018)
Today’s Question
Where are you going in the next few hours? How does it feel to consider that Christ walked ahead of you and is already present there? Join the conversation.
Today’s Scripture
[The angel said to Mary Magdalene and the other Mary,] “Then go quickly and tell his disciples, ‘He has been raised from the dead, and indeed he is going ahead of you to Galilee; there you will see him.’ This is my message for you.”
—Matthew 28:7 (NRSVUE)

to miI most likely am home , haven’t had breakast yet, it is becoming brunch (breakfast/lunch) Book/Bible study just ended. Easter continues, the walk to Emaus , Jesus meeting the disciples in Galilee all come to mind. My posts are appearing although it still says “awaiting moderation”.
Winds picking up, expecting one last snowfall over three days. Thank You, Lord for our salvation.
We need You every hour.
Did some shopping, Christ, God, the Holy Spirit is with me 365/24/7. That is very reassuring. helpful, empowering. Warm, 50 degrees sunshine and a few clouds. A beautiful day. Expecting the weather will change and there will be more snow. Skiing will continue. For all of these truths, Thank You, Lord.
