Today’s Reflection
When I connect my wholehearted prayer life with action, I move beyond the paralysis of despair into an action-oriented outlet for my prayers. We are called to embody Christ, to be Christ’s hands, feet, and heart in a broken world. May we consider how we are called into action through our prayers.
—Beth A. Richardson, Walking in the Wilderness: Seeking God During Lent (Upper Room Books, 2020)

Today’s Scripture
Therefore let all who are faithful offer prayer to you;
at a time of distress, the rush of mighty waters shall not reach them.
—Psalm 32:6 (NRSV)
Prayer for the Week
Holy One, my body, soul, and spirit hunger and thirst for you. Here in this barren wilderness, fill me with your living water. Shape me into the one you would have me become. Amen.

I wish I could immediately answer this question, but memory doesn’t help at the moment. I’m thankful Chris had his procedure yesterday and seems to be recovering well. I’m no longer the condo association secretary. Have on e last task to do. April will be a busy month, hopefully a new place to live and a successful move. There’s Holy Week, Easter. and a wedding anniversary to remember as well. A vital aspect will be good brakes on the car. They get attention this morning. The NEM family is in my prayers. Thank You, Lord.
I know this has happened but I cannot think of any specifics currently.
Very strange weather here. Yesterday there was freezing rain in the morning and 70 degrees in the afternoon while today is very windy. The high today will be around 70 again but snow and ice tomorrow morning.
Prayers for Ally and David’s financial issues which are impacting their health. Prayers for Ally’s mental health issues due to memories. Prayers for Jill’s upcoming evaluation meeting, may all go well. Prayers for travel mercies for Becky and her husband. Prayers for Robert as he enters a month of change and action.
Praying for specific opportunities to serve have provided instances to assist others in need. Earlier this year I thought there was going to be a connection, only to have it fall through. It seemed certain to happen, but then didn’t. I remain prayerful about the person involved.
Returned to the dentist this morning, and had success with the numbing agent and was able to have the permanent crown put on. Will return over spring break to have an old cavity re-filled. I am so grateful to have had minimal discomfort and had no problems with lunch or dinner. Now, will I be brave enough to floss it???
Yes, like Julie, the weather is on a wild roller coaster ride. Hated to waste 66 degrees at 5:30 this morning and not run, but the wind was raging. Now it is in the 40s.
One more day of this school week. Tomorrow is supposed to be “senior flick day” – so, we will see who shows up to my senior 1st Block.
My sister and Don arrived home safely last evening at 11:45. I haven’t had a chance to speak with her yet. Hopefully this weekend.
