How to Use Prayer Bead DevotionsNew Every Morning | March 13, 2023
We offer many differing prayers for use with your beads. You need not use the prayers in the order they appear unless you find that approach meaningful. So too you may choose to use the devotion and not the meditation, or vice versa. You may want to use the same prayer over the course of days or weeks, or you may want to choose a new one daily. Feel free to use what fits your mood or place in life.

Know that the Lord is God—he made us; we belong to him. We are his people, the sheep of his own pasture.
—Psalm 100:3 (CEB)
Prayer for the Week
Pray the following prayer as you touch the cross, invitatory bead, and resurrection beads on a set of Protestant prayer beads.
Holy God, heaven and earth are filled with your glory.
Let my praise be united with that of
the angels as we proclaim that
you are holy, holy, holy. Amen.

A generation ago, The Godbearing Life charted a new course for youth ministry to fuel the faith both of young people and the adults who minister with them. The Revised Edition now offers a new generation of church leaders the same depth of spiritual wisdom while addressing the profound shifts in society and ministry over the past twenty-five years. I spent a lovely day with Megan yesterday. We went to the Pittsburgh Home and Garden Show. It is the largest in the country and spans 10 acres. We only traversed the top level as the lower level is all garden and outdoor spaces. We found both the painter and flooring company that we will be using this year. So it was a productive day. We also bought many good things to eat. There is a man who sells the most amazing coffee cakes. Usually he sells out but this year he brought extra. Megan is set for breakfast for awhile.

No Nor’easter here yet, but am surely expecting one to start later today into Wednesday. All prepared. If you have lived in the Northeast- New England for a while, you should be experienced and well prepared. Yes, there are variations, but the general concept should be familiar.
Great to go to the Home and Garden show. Have been to one in Albany NY and another in NYC.
A great place to find needed resources for home improvement.
All’s well at CCUMC after our no heat for Sunday service experience. Propane tanks shoveled out, tanks filled, and all propane powered appliances and equipment are functioning again. Thank You, Lord.
Erich is baking a lot these days. Various muffins, funnel cake, brownies, and Hermits. All delicious.
A nice walk at Lowe’s with my friend Russ this morning.
Prayers and Blessings,
I have not used prayer beads either.
Julie – sounds like a delightful, as well as much needed, day with Megan. I love to go to Home and Garden shows. I used to go with mom. We enjoyed taking our time, reveling in the thought of spring and the flowers we would buy together.
A very hectic day at school. Truth be told – I didn’t do enough schoolwork at home over the weekend, and paid for it today. But, all is well and the day passed quickly. Need to do a bit of schoolwork this evening.
Lots of flurries today. I got up late (out late with tennis last night), so didn’t get a run in this morning. Was going to take a walk after dinner with the extended daylight, but think I will just let me body have a full day of rest.
