At your age, you may regularly visit a cardiologist who runs tests on your heart. God, the Great Physician, is even more interested in your heart’s condition. While the cardiologist listens for heartbeats and rhythms, God looks for love, humility, and forgiveness. Ask God to guard your heart’s health today.

How is your heart’s health today? Is your heart full of love, humility, and forgiveness? Join the conversation.
Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.

I had a heart attack December 1st 2016, With medication, a rehab program, and daily walks I haven’t needed to see a cardiologist since 2018. Thank You, Lord. I want my heart to be full
of love, humility, and forgiveness. That is a bit of a struggle living with my son. Thankfully, his lipoma was removed yesterday, hope for good healing. An opportunity to move to a single family home ended when leaks in the basement floor and an inefficient heating system were discovered. House prices have skyrocketed. making it hard to find one that is affordable. Having a single family home would enable him to start a business.
Progress planning worship from now through Advent last night. More to do. Have a way to offer communion, hope to do that November 7th. Will give another message, this time inspired by Adam Hamilton’s understandings answering the question. WHY? Have the first section of his book, my copy is yet to arrive. Hopefully soon.
We all have concerns on our plates, Lord, most certainly we need You, Your Son, and the Holy Spirit .
Thank You for Your ever presence.
I pray along with Robert for a heart full of humility, love, and forgiveness. Forgiveness is difficult for me with h.
I decided to have the hernia operation. I ask that everyone pray for me until I have it becuase it is outpatient but in the hospital and if something goes wrong they will admit me which terrifies me now. If you are in prayer groups please add me if you would. I deeply fear the hospital due to past horrible experiences and have postponed this surgery for years because of this. Thank you in advance for considering my request.
Prayers for Ally and David, for improved health and finances. Prayers for Jill as she and her students connect now that they are having classroom instruction, may they continue to cooperate and learn together. Prayers for Lou as she grieves her aunt and her mother’s health issues. Prayers for Robert as he continues to seek a single family house. I am also looking to buy a new home and you are correct, housing prices have skyrocketed and no one is selling. Prayers also that Robert continues to enjoy such robust health. Prayers for Marti and her staff. Thank you for your prayers and may God bless all who visit here.
I think my heart health is good. Although, I was weary today by the end of school, and noticed short temperament when I got tied up at school and then had to run a short errand. I am very tired, but playing tennis this evening. I am hoping the enjoyment of competition will rouse me from my weary state.
I think part of my grouchiness is I didn’t get as much done at school today as anticipated. Many students were dropping by during my free time in the morning, as well as lunch, and I had grand visions of minimal grading this weekend. And that just isn’t the case.
One of my students who stopped by for help, brought me a homemade cinnamon roll. I am going to give it to dad this evening, as he is coming to my tennis match. He will enjoy it tomorrow morning with coffee.
Julie – God is with you. He will be with you in the hospital, for as long as that need be. I pray His presence will be a reality for you and that your medical procedure will go well.
A little chuckle – that loathsome treasurer task – it snuck up on me again today. I am proud and happy to say I completed it without even looking at my cheat sheet. Maybe I need to get over my feelings about it. It is just a miniscule part of the job – and not as bad as it once was.
Hope you can find reason to chuckle to yourself as well.
