Today’s Reflection
It may well be said that Christianity was founded on the most profound act of nonviolence ever witnessed. Not only did Jesus submit himself voluntarily to martyrdom, but he did so when, by his own account, he had more power than any person on earth to end his own suffering, end the wickedness of his tormentors, and bring judgment to the whole situation.

Today’s Scripture
His grave was among the wicked,
his tomb with evildoers,
though he had done no violence,
and had spoken nothing false.

Nonviolence is the best way to solve issues. Sadly human nature doesn’t fully accept this idea and conflicts continue. Evil forces don’t want to negotiate, they want to commit all sorts of acts that cause pain, humiliation, and death to get their way. Sadly even people who claim to be Christians use these methods to coerce people to publicly state faith in Christ. Keep praying, turn to God, trust in God, may God’s kingdom come and God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Thank You, Lord
