Today’s Reflection
God’s will has already been given to us in scripture. We do not have to wait for the revelation we seek; it is there to be found. God calls us to walk with a guided heart through reading.

Today’s Scripture
Until I arrive, give attention to the public reading of scripture, to exhorting, to teaching.

I don’t have a specific scripture that speaks to me in my current situation. A Bible/book study about the prophets just underway helped me understand anger better. Steps we are taking are working toward resolving that anger. November will be an important month when a plan is set in motion. Thank You, Lord.
Psalm 34:18 reminds me that I am not alone – God is always near to comfort us in our sadness and grief. We are not alone.
Blessings to all this day-
Jeremiah 29:11 has always spoken to me. Please pray for God to watch over me tomorrow as I travel to finally meet my best friend.
What you do every day matters more than what you do every once in a while.

Psalm 46:10 is a favorite of mine. Be still and know that I am God. Yesterday I attended an outdoor “breathing with the trees” hour held in a beautiful Botonical Garden. I felt the oxygen given off by the trees and relaxed with the simple exercises we practiced to relax our bodies and increase the flow of oxygen into our bodies and carbon dioxide out. We were in harmony with the trees that breathed in the CO2 and gave us O2. God provided for us always, I recognized another blessing of being still and knowing God. Time spend in nature is always a blessing to me. I will continue to spend time with God so that I am always ready for whatever the future holds. This morning I heard the Sandhills Cranes fly over and sing to me :))
Thanks be to God! Blessing to my NEM family.
