Today’s Reflection
Discernment involves praying to know and do God’s will, and sometimes that will mean disappointing others who have fixed ideas and opinions about what we should do with our lives.
—Steve Harper, Walking in the Light: Knowing and Doing God’s Will (Upper Room Books, 2014)

Today’s Scripture
When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own but will speak whatever he hears, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.
—John 16:13 (NRSVUE)
Prayer for the Week
God of all things, you have created me for a purpose. As you walk with me down the road you have prepared, show me the next right step to take so I can do your will. Amen.
