Today’s Reflection
Bless us this day,
And bless all we meet:
The grieving friend,
The laughing child,
The stranger on the corner.
Fill our hearts with your light
And let that light shine through us,
Bringing friendship and hope,
Peace and presence.
We are yours.
—Beth A. Richardson, “This Day,” in Christ Beside Me, Christ Within Me: Celtic Blessings (Upper Room Books, 2016)

I don’t know yet. Thankful for yesterday’s “No Kings” gathering. Lots of positives at that. Worship today. Thank You, Lord.

On this very dark and rainy Sunday morning in the Midwest I hope to help shine some light – meeting with the daughter of my friend who recently passed away- hoping to comfort each other- and meeting later with another friend’s daughter who wants some advice for her business- praising the Lord this morning reading my devotionals and listening to worship music helps the light shine in.
Peace be with all of you today-
