Today’s Reflection
The primary focus of stilling the mind is to get God. Everything else follows from there. I seldom ask for things; if I have God, I know I’ll get all I need. The stilling of the mind allows God to get at you, to invade you, to take possession of you. God then pours prayers through you—divine prayers, God-inspired and thus God-answered.

Prayer for the Week
Gracious Christ, teach me to pray. . . . Give me the mind to pray, the love to pray, the will to pray. Let prayer be the aroma of every act, the atmosphere of every thought, my native air. In your name. Amen. [Prayer by E. Stanley Jones]

This happens a lot for me – so I just have to quiet myself and start again- sometimes several times – but that is ok. God knows my heart and I know that he forgives me.
Prayers for all today- for all who are searching and struggling – for all of us imperfect sinners. God loves you and me.
Blessings –
