New every morning is your love, great God of light, and all day long you are working for good in the world. Stir up in us desire to serve you, to live peacefully with our neighbors and all your creation, and to devote each day to your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Today’s Reflection

God exists within a holy community, the Trinity. God’s self is a thriving community, and God created us to flourish in our interconnectedness and mutual support of one another. We need one another to remind us that all things are possible with God and to help us trust the narrative that God’s reign is both at hand and still to come. In the midst of uncomfortable waiting, we need voices that also speak to our blessedness. Sharing our stories adds perspectives that can bolster our faith when life overwhelms, frightens, or takes us by surprise.

Experience bolsters my faith. Over 77 years Advent, Christmas, Easter, Pentecost, the times I’ve felt God’s presence, have been reassured that I would come through tough times, and witnessed miracles all encourage, support, and strengthen my faith. Thank You, Lord.

This faith community and my other faithful friends help me during times of waiting- prayers for all of the UR faithful and for all of Gods children who come to this place. Prayers for my daughter and partner on their journey today – I’m so looking forward to my children all together for Christmas – praise God for the blessings of family.

How wonderful to have your family together at Christmas, Lou!! Safe travels for all.
Loved reading about community and applying it to the Trinity. Reminds me of the Bible verse about 3 strands /people together are hard to break. What an awesome God we worship and adore.
Waiting with our NEM family for our celebration of Christ, thank you Lors for community:))
