Today’s Reflection
God is never unbothered by us but is moved quite powerfully by the choices we make, for ill or good. . . . God’s fierce anger is cradled by God’s steadfast love, which faithfully renews us every morning.
—Rolf Nolasco, Jr., The Upper Room Disciplines 2025 (Upper Room Books, 2024)

Today’s Scripture
The number of the people of Israel shall be like the sand of the sea, which can be neither measured nor numbered, and in the place where it was said to them, “You are not my people,” it shall be said to them, “Children of the living God.”
—Hosea 1:10 (NRSVUE)

Love. Love everyone, no exceptions, for love conquers all iniquity. Resist injustice, return injustice with love. Thank You, Lord.
Oh yes, Robert! We must share God’s love with the world. We must show kindness to all we meet. We must be the light that shines in the darkness of this time.
Ride on! Rough-shod if need be, smooth-shod if that will do, but ride on! Ride on over all obstacles, and win the race.

This is a timely question at a moment when my faith feels very weak. Choosing to go forward with God is what I am trying to do as a Christ follower. In my doubts, I choose Christ. I just ordered a book called Sacred Resistance by Ginger Gaines-Cerelli. I think it will have some good thoughts on moving forward in love in a world that seems to be in chaos. Love is needed more than ever.
