Today’s Reflection
Prayer beads can offer a path to begin to tell our stories. They can carve out a “safe space” from which to share our most intimate thoughts. In a sense, rather than looking God in the eyes, which can feel intimidating, we can focus on the beads as we talk. And they can offer a concrete, sacramental reminder of God’s presence with us, helping us to know that God is listening to what we have to say.

Prayer for the Week
God of light, help me to speak my truth. Show me how to be still so that I may hear your gentle whisper. In the name of your Son, Jesus Christ, who has the power to heal me. Amen.

I just talk to God. Worship, Communion, fellowship, and church conference prep today. Pray it all goes well. Thank You, Lord
I have used prayer beads (a rosary actually, a gift from a friend). Sometimes I need a guide with prayer and the beads help me do that.
My heart is heavy, as I read the stories of those suffering in southern Appalachia due to Helene. We in Georgia had damage, but nothing compared to the devastation in other areas. Just south of our town, there is a lot of damage. Still quite a few people without power. We appreciate prayers for all. David and I have had an upper respiratory illness and are recovering. Thinking about visions and goals today.
Good to hear you and David are safe Ally.
Prayers for health.
I pray. And when I can’t find the words The Holy Spirit intervenes. What an awesome God, thank you.
