Today’s Reflection
BE THANKFUL. Be thankful that you are part of the body of Christ. Be thankful for the spiritual adventure of life in Christ. Be thankful for the ways in which you understand God’s love. Be thankful on waking each morning for a fresh awareness of God’s love. Be thankful for the sustaining support of God throughout each day. Be thankful and rejoice in the knowledge of God’s love in the incarnation of Jesus Christ. Thanks be to God!

New every morning is your love, great God of light, and all day long you are working for good in the world. Stir up in us desire to serve you, to live peacefully with our neighbors and all your creation, and to devote each day to your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

I am so thankful for this email every morning and that comments are back! I pray everyone has a wonderful day!
I’m thankful to be warm and dry, had something to eat. With a sore throat I’m staying home today, not what I would like, but I don’t want others to catch a “bug”. Prayers for the UMC, peace in the world, wise decisions in government, the good health and safety of everyone, and that those who don’t believe will become believers. Today we remember the magi who came to offer gifts to Jesus. Thank You, Lord for the blessings of this day.
I am thankful for the UR worshippers and for this place to come and read and join with others and renew my faith. I am thankful for a good Christmas season with my children and extended family and then time away this past week where I enjoyed everything from the beach to the mountains with good friends. I am thankful for God’s peace and his mercy and love. Prayers for a safe return for me today to my home my routines and my job- all for which I am thankful.
Peace to all who come here today.
