Today’s Reflection
Lent is a season of repentance, of coming face to face with our mortality. It is often a somber time, when our prayers and our hymns trudge along to indicate our penitence. Is there a place for celebration in Lent? Yes, there is.

Joy comes in recognizing that by confessing our sins God will forgive us. We are made new. Thank You, Lord.
When we confess our sins our hearts and souls are unburdened and we are free to accept God’s forgiveness and basketball in his love and care. We feel more at ease in our relationship with the Lord.
