Today’s Reflection
Compassion is genuine loving regard that flows freely from the heart. Its path transforms perfectionist self-hatred into authentic, empathic self-compassion. It rekindles the care we truly feel for our loved ones and fosters a relationship in which we all feel heard. . . . The path of compassion emboldens personhood. It restores our capacities to love others and ourselves with equal measure. It leads us back to our humanity.

I struggle to find an answer to today’s question. I’m thankful for Christ’s love. it keeps me going. Thankful to be reconnected with family in Germany who are dealing with very challemging health problems. Thankful that there is help for them and their caregiver. Prayers for them. Thank You, Lord.
Robert, prayers for your family in Germany and their caregiver.
I am finding self compassion now that I am no longer being abused daily. I gave compassion to one of my abusers as I cared for him as he suffered a debilitating and terminal disease. I have shown compassion by some people in my church, neighborhood and community. Thank you, Lord.
Marcie, you are in my heart and prayers.

I have been shown kindness and compassion. God used it to soften my heart, which can still harden. Lord, break my heart for others. Help me to show compassion to myself. Help me to extend grace to all. Marcie, I second Julie in lifting you in prayer. Love to all who visit this sacred space”.
