Every day is a gift from God, it is a day that the Lord has made, rejoice and be glad in it. Palm Sunday.
Jesus, the King arrives as an Israelite king entering Jerusalem on the colt of donkey. His path covered with cloaks, welcomed with palm branches waved by the crowd and shouts of hosannah in the highest. Thank You, Lord
To me it means tht God gives us each day to worship him and to follow his path for us. Each day is a gift to use to his glory, reflecting his love to the world.
It is Your day, God – how will You use me to Your glory? May I represent Him well each day.
Dad and Don arrived safely home. I had groceries picked up for them, as well as Chinese and we headed to their place. Watched the golf and got caught up. Dad was chosen to take an “Honor Flight” – where veterans go to DC for the day to visit the sites and memorials. Robert – have you heard of such a thing? Dad went on Wednesday – and had a wonderful time. Each veteran is assigned to a guardian, who stays by his/her side the entire 24 hour period. The guardian met with dad yesterday for breakfast and gave him a photo memory album of the trip. Don is hoping to be chosen for the flight in the Fall.
Four more days until spring break. It has been a long haul. Hopefully we can get through this week, mostly uneventfully. Last week we had two lockdowns in one day. All of us are ready for a break…from the building and each other.
