New every morning is your love, great God of light, and all day long you are working for good in the world. Stir up in us desire to serve you, to live peacefully with our neighbors and all your creation, and to devote each day to your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Today’s Reflection

We see the sun, we revel in the light, we breathe the air, we feed off the land, but we hardly understand how all this holds together.
Our souls are the essence of who we are, and they are united to our bodies. The mystery we are communes with mystery that is you.

Today’s Scripture

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

The mystery of faith: Christ has died; Christ is risen; Christ will come again. Belief in this mystery of faith is essential or Christ is meaningless. Yes, indeed Christ is risen. Christ is alive. Thank You, God, Thank You, Jesus.

Faith, in and of itself is a mystery. We must trust in something never seen. The Bible is full of inexplicable happenings that we are asked to believe. I think suspending the need for certainty is what prevents so many people from embracing Christianity.

God and I have been communing a lot
lately- my best friend is dying and another childhood friend is struggling with illness also – I’m asking God for help to provide words of comfort long distance for both of these friends. I’m so very sad – also trying to support my
Mom and another friend whose father is dying – a lot of grief surrounding- I’m turning to scripture and song each day- just praying a lot.
    Prayers for you all.
