Prayer for the Week
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace:
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.
—Peace Prayer of St. Francis

I try to be kind to everyone.
Taking Communion to a church member in the hospital. Sending World Communion messages to places on the opposite sides of the world. Blessings to all on World Communion Sunday.
Thank You, Lord
If I reflect in any the grace and mercy of God, it is because God has extended God’s grace and mercy to me. The scripture readings this week have been appropriate to the times we live in. As the scripture from Lamentations stated, we have hope. Lord, help us to cling to hope.
I share home baked food with my neighbors and sit and listen. I am thinking of you Lou, and praying that your time with your Mother is good. May you feel God’s hand upon you as you grieve your friend’s passing. May our NEM family rest well tonight so that we may start the week and be a light in this dark world.
