Today’s Reflection
Until we overcome our deep-seated tendency to deny our short-comings and begin to own the less attractive parts of our lives, we will not experience inner change. Progress along the spiritual pathway requires that we grow in knowledge of ourselves.
—Trevor Hudson, The Serenity Prayer: A Simple Prayer to Enrich Your Life (Upper Room Books, 2012)
Today’s Question
What aspects of yourself are hardest to acknowledge, and why might God be inviting you to face them? Join the conversation.
Today’s Scripture
Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my thoughts.
See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
—Psalm 139:23–24 (NRSVUE)
Prayer for the Week
God of peace, meet us in this moment — in our grief, in our striving, in our questions, and in our quiet hopes. Teach us to live fully and faithfully, trusting that you walk with us through every valley. Help us slow down, open our hearts, and find courage in your unwavering love. Amen.
Submit your prayer to The Upper Room.

G,d knows that believers are not 100% pure, we still have sins that need attention. To be whole we need to confess and with God’s help address these sins. Thank You, Lord, for the love, mercy, and grace that makes possible salvation.
I am trying to work on my patience with my kitties. They are very mischievious. I have prayed about, this asking for God’s counsel.
Just love life and it will love you back. Madeline
