New every morning is your love, great God of light, and all day long you are working for good in the world. Stir up in us desire to serve you, to live peacefully with our neighbors and all your creation, and to devote each day to your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Today’s Reflection

God’s peace is a spiritual peace, a peace that lasts and which cannot be taken away from us. It does not depend on everything going well. It provides an inner assurance that, ultimately, all is well, whether we are happy or not, whether we get what we want or not, whether we are satisfied with our circumstances or not, or whether we are burdened or not. God’s peace is a peace that goes beyond all human understanding.

Prayer for the Week

God of peace, meet us in this moment — in our grief, in our striving, in our questions, and in our quiet hopes. Teach us to live fully and faithfully, trusting that you walk with us through every valley. Help us slow down, open our hearts, and find courage in your unwavering love. Amen.

I believe that God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, is beside me all the time, that nothing can separate us from God’s love. Spiritual life, the most valuable and precious, can not be destroyed if you have faith in Jesus. He rescued us from sin and death. Thank You, Lord.

Thankful for those who gave their life that our country is free. Sadly some of the wars we sent troops to fight were mistakes and needlessly our countrymen died.

I very much need God’s peace today. I am troubled by the way some people are treating me. I need God’s guidance. Thank you, Lord, for the people who gave their lives for my freedom. Thank you, Robert, for your service.
