Today’s Reflection
FAITH IS SIMPLE trust, as small as a mustard seed, and yet so very powerful. It enables us to relax, release worry, and know deep in our bones that God will not forget us, that we are loved unconditionally just as we are, and that God will be with us through whatever challenges and joys we experience.
—Tom Camp, Upper Room Disciplines 2019 (Upper Room Books, 2018)

Today’s Scripture
“The Lord replied, ‘If you had faith the size of a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, “Be uprooted and planted in the sea,” and it would obey you.’”

Yes, by faith, I can let go of worry and trust that God is with me.
May God protect and increase our faith!
Blessings!
Yes, this has been a significant change which took place maybe 6-8 years ago. It’s truly life-changing. The ability to have stillness within, a blessing of His marvelous Grace.
Tennis last evening and a late night to bed. Cooler temps, so blankets and warmth in bed. And Roger is close this morning – surely do to the heated blanket I am wrapped up in.
This weekend is the last outdoor arts festival of the year. One mom and I always went to, although I couldn’t get her to go with me last year. I will go this afternoon, once the temperatures rise. This evening I am taking dad to dinner for his birthday, which is Tuesday. This past week he played golf with the guys and shot an 86. He will be 86 Tuesday and he wants so badly to “shoot his age”. Maybe the weather will hold enough for him to play a few more times this month. We will try to play on the weekends if it is warm enough.
No, I am unable to do this. I know that God is with me, but I also know that even in the Bible some of His followers were left with no means and were hungry and homeless. So, yes I worry for my future and whether my needs will be covered.
I received my Botox shots yesterday and I also spoke to me doctor regarding the unresponsiveness of his assisstant. We spoke at length also regarding my condition. He indicated that he was intending to raise the possibility of vasodilators with me. He inserted the needles in a new way that he hopes will improve the effectiveness of the Botox.
Prayers for Mary and her family, for light and joy.
Prayers for Jill and Larry, may both continue to have good health and good golf weather. Tazzie is sitting on my lap this morning as Roger is on yours. There is no better way to start a day than with a kitty on one’s lap.
Prayers for Robert, may his health continue to be robust and may he continue to revel in the glory of God’s creation.
Prayers for those we haven’t heard from for awhile including Andrea, Connie and Marcy.
Prayers, blessings, warm hugs and thank you UR family
A great reflection, hope everyone believes this. Even in the worse circumstances God is there looking out for the most important part of us, our soul. The unseen is more important than the seen.
A beautiful day here in the White (not quite yet) Mountains of NH. Frost warnings are more frequent. The leaves are spectacular as was the waterfall saw yesterday. Hope for a walk by the sea later today. Discovered this quite by accident. Mountains and ocean not so far apart here.
Prayers for peace, safety, good health, and welfare to you all, Thank You, Lord. God’s blessings to you, you are in my prayers.
So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
(from Isaiah 41:10)
