Today’s Reflection
The gospel needs to be radical stuff to empower us into living outside the powerful forces of envy and jealousy. Our cure begins by realizing that God intends us to be precisely who we are.
—W. Paul Jones, Becoming Who God Wants You to Be (Upper Room Books, 2013)

I have not fantasized about being someone else. Since the time I knew of this passage about God creating me in my mother’s womb, I’ve taken that to heart. God knows me better than anyone. I’m thankful for that. No matter what, God is always with me. Without a human partner going on 28 years I take great solace in God; Thank You, Lord.
