Today’s Reflection
Pursuing wholeness has led me to freedom from a façade. I’m not pretending to have it all together anymore. Seeking wholeness has trained me to live in very authentic, organic, consistent ways. I live with integrity and can be my true self; I’m not hiding from anybody. I’ve discovered that God’s love for me is not dependent upon my productivity or my positivity. Because I am close to Jesus, I can be vulnerable, and my vulnerability might help others on their spiritual journey. There is no substitute for closeness with Jesus on this soul reset journey. He is the first thing, the last thing, and everything in between!

Prayer for the Week
O God, I seek you. My soul thirsts for you. My whole being longs for you as in a dry and weary land where there is no water. [prayer adapted from Psalm 63:1]

Most definitely I am a human, a sinner. While created in the image of God. I am not perfect. The need to be closer to Jesus exists. I need to be more consistent.
Thankful for Communion today., the first day of a new month. Thank You, Lord.
I am contemplating this question as I feel called to be more active in my church community again. For the past few years I have been on the periphery, where for 20 plus years prior I was a very active member. I’m struggling to find a new place again or deciding if I should find a new church community- but I know I want to be more connected – just unsure of where God is leading me – I’m trying to listen.
Missing Allie and Rusty and their comments- praying for them.
Prayers for all on a remarkable Sunday. Thankful to be at church today.
