New every morning is your love, great God of light, and all day long you are working for good in the world. Stir up in us desire to serve you, to live peacefully with our neighbors and all your creation, and to devote each day to your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Today’s Reflection

Grieving often leads us along that healing path toward a deeper peace. As we grieve we can still pray the Serenity Prayer and try to walk each day in its wisdom. We will find God slowly becomes more and more real to us. We sense that we are not alone.

Prayer for the Week

God of peace, meet us in this moment — in our grief, in our striving, in our questions, and in our quiet hopes. Teach us to live fully and faithfully, trusting that you walk with us through every valley. Help us slow down, open our hearts, and find courage in your unwavering love. Amen.

Grief brought me closer to God. The mountain top experience of my life thus far occurred.Since then I have subtle but real reminders of God’s presence that keep me going. The change of life, but the ever presence of the Trinity, continue. Thank You, Lord.

Sometimes grief and sorrow become a part of your everyday living. Within that God brings comfort and moments of happiness too. One learns that God never leaves you but is with you every step of the way everyday. That knowledge has grown for me with my experience of grief and provides and sustains me. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted. Thanks be to God. Blessings to all this day- may you know the peace that only He can give..

God comforts me in my grief. I remember his promise of eternal life and cling to the knowledge that I will be reunited with my loved ones in heaven.
Your actions are all you can own. Flynn
