New every morning is your love, great God of light, and all day long you are working for good in the world. Stir up in us desire to serve you, to live peacefully with our neighbors and all your creation, and to devote each day to your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Today’s Reflection

Like the people of Israel then, we too yearn for vitality as we have been numbed by the illusory comforts that this world offers and the drive to fill our egos often at the expense of those around us. We also hunger anew for a love that is unconditional and that will never fail us.

As we express these deep longings, we will incline the ears of our hearts and claim the divine promise of peace, presence, and provision wherever we may be so that we can bear the fruit of love, faithfulness, right living, and experience God’s favor surrounding us on every side.

Today’s Scripture

Steadfast love and faithfulness will meet; righteousness and peace will kiss each other.

In my life now which is finally free of abuse. Also, in the healing I have been experiencing as I participate in therapy.
