New every morning is your love, great God of light, and all day long you are working for good in the world. Stir up in us desire to serve you, to live peacefully with our neighbors and all your creation, and to devote each day to your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Today’s Reflection

Change is as difficult as it is inevitable. Leading change is even harder. Pastors are often asked to produce change, but just as often they face resistance when they do it. Learning to live with and lead through change is a critical factor in the long and joyful obedience of ministry.

Today’s Scripture

It is the LORD who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.

Life is change itself. There are so many different types and ways that change takes place. Inevitable, natural, easy, forced, arduous, complicated, ongoing, free, inexpensive, costly, possible and impossible, needed , necessary, not required, unwanted, despicable, advantageous, destructive, preservative, an attitude, an action and the list goes on and on. Thank You, Lord , for life and with You our ability to make our way through it, to live.

Change is difficult and stressful. But we can be sure God is with us. He will guide us through each change in our life and can show us how life can be better once we accept the new circumstances.
