New every morning is your love, great God of light, and all day long you are working for good in the world. Stir up in us desire to serve you, to live peacefully with our neighbors and all your creation, and to devote each day to your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Today’s Reflection

In baptism we become part of the body of Christ. We are incorporated into this process of discipleship that moves throughout history and around the world. Our baptism took place in a specific place, from which we may have long ago moved; yet, our baptism is into the body of Christ, a mystical event that transcends our place and our time.

Today’s Scripture

I’m a child of God, sealed by the Holy Spirit, with the living Christ leading me. Yes the original church building where my parents were married and I was baptized is gone, replaced by a newer building, but the baptism remains. Thank You, Lord.
    C + M + B arrive tomorrow and we celebrate Communion.
Ski and snowshoe conditions are terrible, the need for snow is great.

It means everything to be within the mystical body of Christ. I have gifts to give that bring more love and more hope to the Body. It also means that when I am vulnerable I am also supported and healed by the entire body.
