Today’s Reflection
If we are to practice faithfulness throughout our lives, we must be mindful that God sees the world differently than we do. To align oneself with God’s heart, a person must pursue a life of character and integrity.

Today’s Scripture
The Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
—1 Samuel 16:7 (NIV)
Prayer for the Week

I trust in the Lord for healing, protection and guidance in the big and small moments of my life. Praise the Lord!
In all situations , good, bad, and in between, keep ;looking for and ,knocking, on the door that leads to God. Remember that Christ and the Holy Spirit are with me as God is ever present. Empowered by God, love everyone. Pray for those who would do harm. Work for social justice. Thank You, Lord.
I try to be kind and compassionate at all times. It is easy to be kind and respectful in certain situations and with certain people. But true faithfulness involves following Christ’s example at all times. Even with people who are unkind to us.
To trust in the Lord with all my heart and to fear him as much as possible
