Today’s Reflection
I believe that God is continually guiding each of us toward forgiveness. God wants to mend our hearts that have been wounded in hurtful relationships and set us free to love without strings attached. I know that God has acted that way in my life, and I have come to believe that it is a general spiritual principle.

Prayer for the Week
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.
(This week’s prayer can be found in Matthew 6:9-13, NIV.)

Yes, I think there have several major events where God has “mended my wounded heart and set me free to love without strings attached.” They all involved relationships.
Thankfully Pearl has an appointment at the vets. I don’t believe she is in pain, she is being well cared for by Erich, It’s also very warm.
A safe trip to Rhinebeck NY to see Jenny, Chris, Willa, and Oona. Quite a good day. Enjoyed strawberry shortcake after supper.
Thank You, Lord.
I think God healed my heart in terms of my mom, enabling to love her well in her struggle and to have no regrets. I continue to heal, my heart is softer for her and her struggle – I can bring compassion to that space now. He continues to transform me and empowers me to help others in their struggles.
Dad and I golfed yesterday and when we finished the round, I noticed I had a flat tire. Thankfully AAA came quickly to the rescue and I was able to get an appointment in the afternoon to get the tire patched. It did not interfere with my dinner plans with my friend. We had a lovely evening together.
A full day today. A medical test this morning, shopping with Becky this afternoon and a tennis match this evening.
Glad you had a safe trip, Robert.
