Today’s Reflection
The wise mind that God ushers us into when we make space for both intellect and emotion yields a wise faith that celebrates the whole person. That kind of faith means that the church can become a place people want to run to instead of from during times of suffering. We need a church we can run to now more than ever.

Bible/book study every Tuesday morning has been welcoming questioning minds for as long as I have been in NH attending CCUMC. Very thankful for the participants from several UMC churches as far away as Texas and Connecticut as well as CCUMC, and the North Conway Episcopal church.
Currently studying the Book of Acts. Thank You, Lord.

My church has a Bible Study group that meets every Wednesday. We are currently participating in a countrywide study of reading a chapter per day to cover Romans and 1 and 2 Corinthians.
I am praying for Marcy.

My pastor especially welcomes our questioning hearts and minds- I’m comforted by that.
Praying for my friend who has decided to quit all chemo and interventions. Praying for another friend undergoing surgery. Praying for all the families in Texas affected by the floods but especially the families of the sweet little girls swept away by the flood waters – I can’t imagine how frightened they must have been- please God comfort the survivors and their families –
Bless all who mourn-
