Today’s Reflection
We grow blind to the petty valuations of the world. We grow blind to the obscurity which is our lot, and, in no resentment, joyfully live in Eternity just where we are.
—Keith Beasley-Topliffe, Editor, The Upper Room Spiritual Classics: Writings of Thomas Kelly (Upper Room Books, 2017)

Prayer for the Week
O God who lives within me, when evil prevails, when dry and barren seasons come, you suffer beside me, and you beckon me into your peace. As I sit, quietly in your presence, you teach me the way of serenity. Amen.

I don’t look for the beautiful in my life as often as I should. Today’s devotional about looking for our blessings was what i needed today. Life seems hard now. But I will try to look for the blessings. Lucy is a little better. David’s wounds are healing. He has an appointment with his cardiologist tomorrow, and we are going to talk about the progression of his congestive heart failure. We covet your prayers.
