Today’s Reflection
Failure teaches us about our weaknesses and the limits of our power. Loss bids us value the treasure of the here and now, heightening our awareness of the precious moments in which we live. . . . The quality of our days can be shaped beneficially by how we respond to failure and loss. Some of God’s best work in us is done in the wake of unwelcome events.

Response to failure, pray and try again, response to loss, turn to God.
A mix of sun and clouds , more40s-50s weather with no rain. Fellowship time at 8:30. Lay led worship Sunday. One of our faith community is at Walk to Emaus where our pastor is leading worship.
Thankful for Julie’s care for h, he knows not what he does. Ally & David, Jill, her family, and Julie are in my prayers. Thank You, Lord.
Unfortunately, I tend to beat myself up over failures. I have trouble moving forward. As far as loss goes, I tend to get stuck. Again, hard to move forward. I’m asking God to surround my heart with God’s love and help me learn and and love and move on when I need to.
Jill, wonderful news that your family is on the mend and that therapy is going well. Robert, prayers for your church this coming Sunday and for you and Erich as you do work together in therapy. Julie, so glad to hear the painting is going well.
My heart is heavy as I read the news of what is happening in Israel. May God protect all the innocent and May peace reign.
