Today’s Reflection
Pursuing wholeness has led me to freedom from a facade. I’m not pretending to have it all together anymore. Seeking wholeness has trained me to live in very authentic, organic, consistent ways. I live with integrity and can be my true self; I’m not hiding from anybody. I’ve discovered that God’s love for me is not dependent upon my productivity or my positivity. Because I am close to Jesus, I can be vulnerable, and my vulnerability might help others on their spiritual journey. There is no substitute for closeness with Jesus on this soul reset journey. He is the first thing, the last thing, and everything in between!

Being authentic with God is easy as I am aware that he sees me as I truly am. There is no need to hide because it is futile, as David relates in one of his Psalms. But I truly believe that others do not wish to know me authentically. Everyone has their own problems to worry about.
Prayers for Ally and David and Jeremy’s health and finances, for Jill to remain Covid free despite the surge especially among the youth, for Roger’s health and for Robert’s church. Thank you for your prayers and may God bless all who visit here.
Yes, absolutely! God knew me before I recognized myself so being authentic, real, toward God is unshakeable. People have tried to hid from God, but no matter where we are God knows us. People present a different situation. It is hard for me to determine if people love like God loves. I try to expect that, but can easily be burnt because my intuition skills are not good. I trust too easily.
Glad to read a post from Julie. Sure hope serious issues are resolved equitably and your life can be less stressful. Prayers for safety from Covid, common sense to do what is needed to end the pandemic, health and well being for all, and wisdom to address climate change. Safety for pets Roger and Jeremy. Know that God is with us always, Thank You, Lord.
Members of my first small group taught me much about authenticity. At my current church, so many have reinforced the need for and appreciation of authenticity. To sit with another, to receive and hold their words and to trust their intentions…a blessing. I am grateful, too, for being able to be authentic with God, Who knows me better than I know myself.
Taking my sister and brother-in-law to the airport early tomorrow morning, so they can head back to Florida. Dad had two showings yesterday and is trying to remain patient with the sale of his condo. He needs my encouragement in this, and I must not grow weary.
Grateful for nothing on the agenda today after school. I do plan on picking up a few items at the grocery store near school, but then will be in for the night.
