Today’s Reflection
Today begin to LGLG [Let Go and Let God]. As a worry surfaces, pray, “God I give (name of worry) to you. Thank you for taking it from me. Amen.” If you begin to worry about the same person or situation after ten minutes, go through the process again. You may pick up the burden multiple times after laying it down. You’ve been carrying it by yourself for a long time; but each time you go through the process, it will be easier to let go.

Prayer for the Week
Loving God, I am weighed down by worrying so much. Help me remember that you care for me and my needs. I bring my anxieties to you and trust in your power to relieve them. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

I have so many worries that I have not slept since Sunday night. I am feeling it very much. I see the dermatologist today. I try giving my worries to God at night and another comes to mind. I am praying for everyone’s concerns.
The small worries are few, it’s the big one that needs attention. I keep trying, God has me in touch with the problem. Without God I am not sure what I would do. Have some help from the problem and think I am doing what this help (CBT) wants me to do. Have finished week one of it and am doing the review that will help me with week two. It’s a 7 week program to retrain my brain. I certainly understand not sleeping or eating well.
On my way home tomorrow, a long day, but on the train and in the bus, it will be easier for me.
YES! Prayers for everyone with worries. Thankful the Lord asks for them. How amazing is that!
God doesn’t wave a magic wand and make them go away, but with trust in God, a way to a good end
can be found. I firmly believe that. Thank You, Lord.
A concern I have right now is how my body is feeling. I know I have been abusing it this summer, with the amount of tennis I have been playing. I reached out to my friend who has the same condition as me, and asked her if she has ever had a massage. She put me in contact with a massage therapist and exercise physiologist she has worked with and had good results. I was fortunate to get in for an eval this Monday afternoon. Since my team has playoffs in 2 weeks – I want to be feeling the best I can be, so hopefully this will prove beneficial.
Had agreed to play tennis this morning, after summer school. My body didn’t feel like it – but I did it. I feel like my mobility is compromised. I am supposed to play the next three days as well. Had I known I would be feeling like this, I wouldn’t have committed to playing.
I helped my photographer friend set up her booth for an art show in my town. It was very warm and luckily her husband was there to help as well. We spent about 3 hours and got things all ready for the show tomorrow and Sunday. It is located about a mile from my school. I am going with my former student who had cancer two years ago. She lives on the street the park is next to. We are going to go when it opens, hoping to beat the heat.
