Today’s Reflection
What will heaven be like? Will it just mean having fun with people we like? Hardly. It will be something far grander: “Then I shall bow in humble adoration, and there proclaim, my God, how great thou art!” We will need an eternity to try to tell God how awed we are, how grateful we are, how humbled and ennobled we are to be God’s people, and to delight in the gift of dwelling – forever! – in God’s presence.

The unanswerable question. It will certainly be about bowing in worship to Him. Will there be activities where we can glorify Him by our actions? I think so. Will there be relationships where we can demonstrate perfected love towards others? I hope so. Will there be animal companions? I surely hope so – for it is in these relationships on Earth where I see unconditional love modeled best towards me.
More sunshine here. Dinner with a former student tonight. We are hitting a Mexican restaurant near my house and she is going to meet the kittens. She sent them a present when I adopted them. It will be a good night of conversation.
