New every morning is your love, great God of light, and all day long you are working for good in the world. Stir up in us desire to serve you, to live peacefully with our neighbors and all your creation, and to devote each day to your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Today’s Reflection

WE DON’T GET to pick our body type; we just accept our assignment as God’s gift and do our best to work with it. Regardless of our portion in the distribution, we’re meant to be strong. The naturally muscular (mesomorphs) may do the heavy lifting with ease, but God assures us that the endomorphs (thicker ones) and ectomorphs (thinner ones) are fearfully and wonderfully made too. Wiry strength and curvy contours are perfectly acceptable expressions of God’s strong design; they’re just packaged differently.

—Wendy LeBolt, Made to Move: Knowing and Loving God Through Our Bodies (Upper Room Books, 2019)

Today’s Question

Today’s Scripture

Be strong, and let your heart take courage,
all you who hope in the Lord.
—Psalm 31:24 (NIV)

Prayer for the Week

There are parts of my brain that don’t work so well, knowing how to make friends is one of them.
The primary vote is on here today. I voted, it is one of the most important things I can do for my country.
New snow and Erich gets to ski today, he found a great price and this is a ski area he has never skied before. We explored this about a week ago and are now taking advantage of the opportunity.

Prayers for America in this eection year, grateful Julie is doing well with new meds, hope Jill is safe in her trip to FL and Mary is doing well on hr mission trip. Good health and well being to Marcy , Rusty and K,
Connie, Andrea and all with health concerns. Thank You, Lord for a safe trip today.
