Today’s Reflection
The very essence of my faith is a sure trust and confidence in your love,
and because of that confidence, my soul, like Mary’s,
glorifies you, and my spirit rejoices in you.
—Paul W. Chilcote, Praying in the Wesleyan Spirit: 52 Prayers for Today (Upper Room Books, 2001)

Prayer for the Week
Gracious God, fill our hearts to overflowing, that we may live not in fear but in joyful obedience. When we stumble or fall short, remind us that your mercy meets us there, inviting us to grow, to abide, and to rejoice in your presence. Let our lives be shaped by your love and sustained by your Spirit. Amen.

Something More
In the devotional classic Praying in the Wesleyan Spirit, renowned Wesleyan scholar Paul Chilcote invited readers to experience the spiritual depth of John Wesley’s sermons through devotional prayer. Now, in Transformed by Grace: 52 More Prayers in the Wesleyan Spirit, Chilcote continues this journey, offering a fresh collection of weekly prayers and hymns inspired by Wesley’s later sermons. So thankful for a wonderful day yesterday in both NH and ME, great weather, and nice walk and talk, then a well guided trip to a bakery, a park, another walk, ice cream, supper and safely back home. Resources arrived this morning enabling vital bills to be paid. Thank You, Lord.
Through intercessionary prayers for those I know are sick. Also, I have begun a ministry to tose from my church who are now homebound.
Kindness is like snow. It beautifies everything it covers.
