New every morning is your love, great God of light, and all day long you are working for good in the world. Stir up in us desire to serve you, to live peacefully with our neighbors and all your creation, and to devote each day to your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Today’s Reflection

Yet God doesn’t always intervene. And it’s healthy for us to voice our feelings, doubts, and questions to God and about God with our safe people when God seems absent. While our feelings are our true feelings, it doesn’t necessarily mean our feelings are the truth. But we start where we are, and sometimes where we are is disappointed, hurt, angry, disillusioned, or even incredulous. It is a faithful expression of our trust in God that God can handle our emotions (that God designed us to have).

Those who know your name trust you

Currently I am annoyed because h keeps trying to interact with me. I also feel proud because I enforced the boundary that I have set in that my morning time is not to be disturbed. I did so succinctly and matter of factly with no hint of recrimination. How does this express my trust in God? As Jill says, I need to ponder this.
I am also feeling smug because as I sat for my morning time I heard a noise and noticed Mewme was playing with the remotes and succeeded in knocking them to the floor. Mewme is the older black and white cat. The remotes have been tampered with every morning for several days and Megan accused my babies! Vindication for my babies!

I too need to ponder this question. My wifi had been off for 2 days, and yesterday t my phone was offline. An AT&T trunk line was severed at a construction site, which impacted technology for. The whole state of GA, as many providers use AT&T trunk lines and towers. All back online today, except my wifi. Due to the statewide outage yesterday, no one came to fix it. Was expecting someone today, but they aren’t here , and I guess are having to play catch-up.
David comes home tomorrow. I pray he’s ready. I’m a little concerned about his steadiness on steps and getting him in the house. He will require supervision with everything l, as he is a very high fall risk. Pray for us.
