Today’s Reflection
WE ALL have experienced what could be called a “burning bush” moment. These moments occur when we sense that God is seeking our attention, speaking to us, and calling us to participate in what God is doing in our midst. Burning bush moments change our lives and the lives of those around us. They draw us into a deep engagement with the living God, who is always active in our lives and in the lives of those who suffer. Tragically, we often miss these moments, therefore missing out on partnering with God in God’s great work of liberation.

Today’s Scripture
There the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire out of a bush; he looked, and the bush was blazing, yet it was not consumed. Then Moses said, “I must turn aside and look at this great sight, and see why the bush is not burned up.” When the Lord saw that he had turned aside to see, God called to him out of the bush, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.”
—Exodus 3:2-4

God lets me know what I need to do, but sometimes I am headstrong. However, I always try to do what Jesus would do. “WWJD”
Thankful for:
A manageable snowfall (I think!)
My Son, who I love more than “tongue can tell”.
A garage door and vehicle that are in good shape now. We are blessed by a man who fixed our door-in very cold weather. Thank you, Darrel. God sends us Angels, for sure.
Bless our neighbors, the city of Aurora and even closer, DeKalb, Il. What a terrible tragedy. Lord, send your Comforter.
Have a blessed Sunday.
