Today’s Reflection
Since many of us will live longer and healthier lives than previous generations of older adults, we have the opportunity to create a second half of life that is fundamentally different from what our parents and grandparents experienced. However, we will also face new challenges and struggles as these trends suggest.

Today’s Scripture
The righteous flourish like the palm tree
and grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
In old age they still produce fruit;
they are always green and full of sap.
—Psalm 92:12, 14 (NRSVUE)

I’m not very good at predicting so these ideas are hunches, educated guesses at best. Mobility vision, and hearing will be challenges. I’ll have more time to spend with family, especially granddaughters, be able to help my son.
Jelly making resumes today, the message for Sunday is ready, it may get a little tweaking to find synonyms for some words. Thank You, Lord
