Today’s Reflection
In speaking my truth, I had helped create a safe space in which others could speak theirs. I was not alone; together we would find connection. Together, we would hear Jesus call us beloved sons and daughters.

Prayer for the Week
God of light, help me to speak my truth. Show me how to be still so that I may hear your gentle whisper. In the name of your Son, Jesus Christ, who has the power to heal me. Amen.

I’m not one who imagines. I’m very stuck in the here and now. I don’t know what Jesus would say to me. Hopefully one day that will happen. I do believe God has made me aware of His presence at two different times. Thank You, Lord.
It was a long day, the stops at places where we wanted to go were brief, but good. Thankfully we made it safely there and home.
Beautiful scenery. no traffic problems.
Work on church conference reports, worship, communion, and fellowship over the next few days.
Trying to decide when we’ll make jelly. Thank You, Lord, for the blessings of the day.
May you enjoy your day and especially your jelly, when its time comes. Miracles are made among the mundane. Today may you know joy.
I imagine Jesus would first listen, and listen very carefully. He might then reflect my thoughts back to me so that I could hear them differently. He might ask questions to help me clarify. He might use a parable to help me consider my thoughts. Then he would offer healing and a pathway to “our father. “. Then he would bless me on my way.
