Today’s Reflection
The Compassion-grounded, “Rest and Digest” state can set us on a path to physical and mental well-being. However, Christian spiritual traditions insist the purpose is something other than personal well-being. Being in intimate relationship with God, the Eternal Source of Compassion, is both the means and the end: We are invited to ground ourselves in Divine Compassion, receive Compassion, become filled with the Presence of Compassion, so that we become images of God, living expressions of the Eternal Source of Compassion.

Stillness, gratitude, reflection. These help me to be aware, to be intentional, to spend time before Him.
School went very well today. My energy was good. It was great to be back with my students. My classes were very busy and thus, the day went quickly. I feel all caught up – a good thing also, after missing three days.
My colleague transported me to and from school. She will pick me up in the morning and the secretary will bring me home tomorrow afternoon. Hoping I can drive soon. Wednesday evening is grief support group. I really hope to be able to attend.
My parents and grandparents helped me connect with God and talk to Him at an early age. When my faith falters, I remember theirs. Connecting with God and remembrance at f the compassion and mercy so have been shown have helped me pass it on to others. We are waiting for court to begin. Please remember us in prayer, especially David. New judge we haven’t seen is presiding today. Praying he will be understanding of our situation. Prayers for all of you today. Much love.
