New every morning is your love, great God of light, and all day long you are working for good in the world. Stir up in us desire to serve you, to live peacefully with our neighbors and all your creation, and to devote each day to your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Today’s Scripture

Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of the righteous person is powerful in what it can achieve.

Prayer for the Week

O loving Christ who waits for us all to move forward, to change inward, to love outward. Wait now with me as I long and learn to become more like you. Guide me to wait with the lost, to stand with the weak, to have a heart for the brokenhearted. Amen.

Today I pray for caregivers. It is the hardest job in the world. Lord, bless those who care for others. Give them strength and courage: place those can help in their paths. Help them to care for themselves. Amen.
Thanks to all who prayed for my little Lewis. The world is a poorer place without him. He brought joy and love to many. We miss him terribly. Thank you God, for my friends here love to all.

Yes, Ally caregiving is a tough job, it also has great blessings. Very glad to take care of my Mom, my son, other family members now and then, and friends.
I pray for Julie caring for h and Anneliese suffering from many ailments under the Neuropathy umbrella. Jill cares for many people in many different ways. You care for David. Doing the Lord’s work means we all care for each other.
The forecast snow is here, supposed to continue until tomorrow morning. It should make conditions at Bretton Woods good. There’s a season ending thank you for season ticket holders. Hope we have a good day.
    Lenten blessings to all.

Today I pray for those in the grips of grieving. It can be such an isolating path. Father, You are near to the brokenhearted. Thank You for this promise.
My sister and I spent the afternoon together, watching tennis, women’s basketball, golf and the Ironman Triathalon I had taped for her in the Fall. She fantasizes about being able to do it and by the end of the show she is in tears over the stories told about the “everyday people” and what inspires them to do this, or what obstacle they have overcome. The wind was so ferocious here, that she didn’t even want to go pick up a pizza. Instead we had shrimp in the air fryer and broccoli. She enjoys watching tennis and doesn’t get the Tennis Channel at her house. A friend of hers may be visiting tomorrow – but if she doesn’t – Becky will come over again tomorrow, following church and we will watch more tennis.
I will play my final tennis match tomorrow evening, ahead of my treatment on Monday.
