Today’s Reflection
GOD’S HEART OF ENDLESS mercy shines like light within and around us, draws our pain and darkness to the healing source, and flows like a river of life into our body, our daily life, and to those around us. Some of us experience this mercy at first only as a slight trickle, a thin thread of change. Others of us already feel a vast abundant river of mercy.

Time of quiet with Him, in His Word – remembering His faithfulness in the past and being able to claim His promises in my circumstances. For myself – sometimes it is a mere trickle and other times it is a consuming flow. Grateful for what He provides.
Influenza A is running rampant through my god daughter’s basketball team. She and the coach were the first, both missing last night’s game. Others went to urgent care following the game to be tested – two more were positive. The good (for me) which came out of her being stricken is I was able to attend my small group last night. Good to be back with women, committed to openness, good listening and sharing from deep within.
Blue skies and sunshine are such an encouragement – have had times of both these past few days. I notice the simple task of putting on sunglasses for the trip home from school.
I mainly work on “keeping it simple” daily with God on my shoulder.
This wonderful group of people has opened my heart to God’s mercy and kindness and forgiveness. Also, I am better able to recognize His blessings and care since joining this group. I acknowledge these with thanksgiving and praise every day.
One recent answered prayer was for my mother who had applied to live in a senior apartment complex. She was told she would be on a waitiing list. She currently lives in a second floor of a duplex with external steps that are falling apart and very dangerous. She received a call on Tuesday that one of the apartments is available due to another applicant being found ineligible. I rejoiced and thanked God for this answered prayer.

I like my quiet time in meditation and in the word. There is also the elements of worshiping together worth others that makes my heart sing.
